Dance competition success!
We’d like to say a huge well done to all the students that were involved in dance competitions this term, as a school we attended three! The first one was UDS dance competition over half term. We were so proud of all of our competitors, they did amazingly and won lots of awards!
1st place Senior Contemporary Solo- Yasmin T
1st overall Mini Novice Duet - Yasmin J & Lily
2nd place Teen Lyrical Solo - Sasha.
2nd place Teen Lyrical small group - Never Enough
2nd place Teen Contemporary Small Group- Last Stand
3rd place Senior Contemporary Solo- Faisal
3rd place Senior Lyrical Soplo- Natasha
3rd place Junior Novice Lyrical Solo- Eva
Runner-up Senior Miss UDS- Yasmin T
Runner-up Senior Mr UDS & Workshop Scholorship winner- Faisal
The next competition attended was 'Stars of the Future'. Again, the students did brilliantly! Yasmin J & Lily and Isabella K & Harshini came joint 2nd place in the Mini Lyrical duet category and Faisal came 3rd place for his Senior Contemporary Solo.
The final competition of the term was the UDS Final last weekend. The competition was tough with it being finals but our students still did brilliantly. Our Senior Contemporary group won 2nd place in their category and 4th overall, and Yasmin T won 5th place with her Senior Contemporary Solo.
